The Wonderful World of Disney!

[musique: Good Go Bad by Cheyenne Kimball]

I haven't been having too much luck with pictures and Blogger so, we'll see if this works. And if it doesn't, I'll try to fix it as quickly as possible.

I was on the Fashion18 site when I found these pictures from a recent fashion editorial. Very cute and very Disney. I posted some of my favourite pictures:

Suspenders. Who doesn't love suspenders? And Goofy's pretty cute, too.

I love how nautical they look. And I really love her red flats!

I think in reality this dress might look tacky or little-kiddish but, I must say, it photographs very well!

Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas! I was wondering if anyone would possibly want to trade links with me? I am not exactly sure how to go about this, but, let me know if you're interested!

The Devil Wears Prada

[musique: Beautiful Love by The Afters]

So I finally watched The Devil Wears Prada and I absolutely loved it! Such a great movie about the fashion world, above is a picture of probably my very favourite outfit from the entire movie - gotta love it!

All I Want for Christmas

Christmas is coming which is way exciting. And I know presents aren't really the point of Christmas, but, who can help but get caught up in the glitz and glamour of brand new stuff! Especially if that stuff happens to be clothing. Here are some of my Christmas wishes...

This great dress is by Foley for Foley + Corinna and a grand total of $180.00. The ruching makes it look so cool and it could be easily dressed up or dressed down. I'd probably wear it over leggings with some flats.

I've been through the graphic tee stage, but, it's sure nice to have some lying around. You'd probably look a little weird wearing this in, say, the middle of July, but, it's just too adorable not too want! $28.00 from Urban Outfitters.

I have a serious shortage of sweaters (unless you count my navy blue uniform sweaters - I have a plethora of those) and I love how casual it looks. Great to throw on during fall or spring or to wear under a jacket when it gets super cold (which it tends to do a lot here in Canada). $78.00 from Free People.

I saw someone wearing this shirt (or one similar to it) at a Christmas banquet and immediately fell in love. It wouldn't look as great on me since I have an extraordinarily pale skin tone but, so cute. Definitely not something I would give a lot of thought to at first, but, seeing how great it looks on someone else, I can't take my eyes off of it! $25.50 from Urban Behavior.

There's definitely more I want for Christmas (such as a gold sequin clutch, a black beret, a solid colored cardigan and black suspenders), but, I am lazy and I've got places to go so I'll have to end this now. Merry Christmas (well, pre-Christmas)!

Paul Hardy: FW06

I was in class the other day when my teacher starts talking about some designer named Paul Hardy. Now, normally I don't take my fashion cues from my teachers, but, after all her raving I had to check out who, exactly, Paul Hardy was. And, I was not disappointed - once I saw the first picture (shown below) I immediately remembered a segment I had watched on TV about Paul Hardy a few months earlier.

These are 2 of my favourite looks, the sweater dress and tights is probably my very favourite! I love that his show took place in an old church - it is so beautiful!

Rebirth

This is sort of the 'rebirth' of The World According to Rory. A blog created to let me release my feelings to the world and see who responds. But now things are changing and this blog might take on a brand new form. The unexpected awaits as The World According to Rory takes up its flight into a brand new world, full of brand new discoveries.

With someone as random as me, you never know exactly what to expect but stay tuned - its bound to be interesting.

I love hearing what you, the bloggers of the world, have to say. If you come across my humble haven, leave a comment. Let your voice be known.

Me. Back... I Hope

Hey there. I'm so not into blog updating lately and I don't know why. I went to England and Wales for a week and a bit and I got back yesterday. I really love it there, amazing fashion in England and Wales in unbelievably gorgeous! So I think I accidently did something and changed my template. Arghhh, I'm currently too lazy to fix it though. I love the template you made me though, Lizzie!

I'm baaack!

It has been sooo unbelievably long since I updated and I feel pretty rotten about that. but it's my computer's fault for being uber-slow. A lot has happened since I updated, except not really. But here's a quick recap of the past weeks: my news favourite words are stellar, brilliant and morbid; I went to my teacher's open house today, it was weird; there's a slight chance we'll go to London in August and my exam marks are 78% (reading comp.), 81% (science), 86% (social) and 96% (math) - not that you cared.

My dilemma at the moment is that me and 2 of my friends are to go to the amusement park on Monday and since my one friend has no computer to check her e-mail I have to phone her and I really hate phones and phoning people and answering phones. So I phoned her at about 2:00 this afternoon and she wasn't home but her dad said he'd tell her to call me back and that she was just gonna be gone for a few minutes and it is now 6:30 and she hasn't called me back and I don't know if I should call her house but what if her dad picks up again and she hasn't been home at all and then I'll feel stupid. Of course, I could always disguise my voice and if she wasn't home say I would call back later and then he wouldn't think it was me. Jolly good plan!

I'm Feeling a Bit Faint

I fainted today. It was my first faint of ever in the 14 years I have lived. I have to say it was a good faint though. Let me explain. We were at the Party Program which is this thing at thet hospital where they tell you/show y ou all types of car accidents and for this one part we went into the ICE or Trauma Section or one of those places and we went into a room with a dummy. It had fake wounds and all but it actually looked sorta real. So anyways, I have never been to good with injuries and blood and all that stuff so about 10 minutes into the presentation I started to feel a little bit dizzy and everything started going black and that's the last thing I remember before I regained consciousness. But apparently I went extremely pale and white and had a graceful and slow fall. When I was conscious again I was sitting on the floor and all my classmates were also sitting (apparently after I fainted my best friend started crying and one of my other friends almost started crying and a bunch of people thought they were gonna faint so they all just sat down) and I was sitting in an akward position and this lady was telling me to breath and my teacher was rubbing my back and then I got some McCain (however you write that) apple juice and that's my story!

LIZZIE IS MY FAVOURITEST!!!

As you can tell, I am quite excited about my new templete that the one and only most wonderfulest Lizzie made for me!!! IT'S SO FABULOUS!!! Thank-you, thank-you, THANK-YOU LIZZIE!!! You can tell I'm rpetty excited because of the amount I am typing in capitals, but please know these are happy-thankful capitals rather than angry-bad capitals. I don't usually type in capitals at all. Except for at the beginning of every sentance because I like my spelling and grammer to be correct which THANK-YOU AGAIN TO LIZZIE WHO DID EVERYTHING ON MY TEMPLATE IN SUCH NICE GRAMMER AND WORDING!!! I would like to continue thanking you but you might become slightly annoyed by that. Anyways, I will be gone to Edmonton for the weekend until Sunday night - I will miss you Lizzie!!! But now I have a tummy ache and must go lie down. I wish I could make something cool for you in return for your website or something but I am not exactly good with computers. I will ponder this dilemma I am faced with.

Undercover Agent

She's my best friend at all, but sometime's she really, really gets on my nerves. And I don't know why because it never used to be this way, I think our closeness is coming to an end, but both of us are too afraid of what might happen and what might change if we start too drift away. So we're hanging together by a thread. But then again, maybe it's all just in my head. But, today when she wasted an entire class to do homework by counting the math questions instead of doing them, well, that bugged me. She counted 62 questions. I finished 52 of those questions in class. And it also bothers me how I got the awards for personal best in humanities and computers. I mean, computers the teacher just likes me because he liked my brother who now happens to be a graduate, or so I think. But humanities? I hate humanities. The teacher doesn't teach us and I don't like her and I just don't try in humanities. So, here I go again with my theories: the teacher is trying to make some sort of truce with me. I haven't figured out the details but she wants me to like her. I feel just like Nancy Drew. Minus the cool vintage clothes. But speaking of cool vintage and thrift clothes, I hear about a good thrift store called Lollipop right in my city and I am quite excited to check it out. Apparently they sell Roxy and stuff there.

And I want a knee-length, zebra-print coat. Just like the one in Just My Luck. And, although Lindsay Lohan isn't one of my role models, I like the movie. Especially Lindsay's movie friends housing facility. It rocked, they should've done every scene there.

Yay For the Hippies!

This is why I'm mad at my teacher. We had our exam today so my teacher (this was yesterday) tells us we have to go to bed at a reasonable time and should tape The Amazing Race instead of watching it (since the majority of our class watches that show). So, I watch a little more than half of it and tape the rest. Today she tells us who won The Amazing Race. She tells us, expecting us to know already, when she wouldn't even let us watch it. Heer exact line was, "Yay for the hippies," and seeing as there's only one team of hippies I sorta figured it out. Screw her!

Muffins in the Morning

It's exam time!!! Aaahhhhh, well, actually, it's not exactly exam time until like 3 weeks but we have an LA exam today. It doesn't even go on our report card yet we have to waste 2.5 hours of our fabulous lives writing a stupid story and a stupid letter. At least I get an extra casual day. I have to leave to go to school in like, 5 minutes cause we have to be at the school at 8:20 even though exams start at 9:00. And why do we have to be there 40 mintues early? Well so we can eat muffins and walk around the school, of course. Doesn't everybody do that? You can probably tell I'm a little annoyed about having to wake up 15 minutes earlier than usual. To eat muffins. I don't even enjoy muffins in the morning. Grrrr, wel, now I really do have to leave. So sorry Lizzie for abandoning my blog as well as you! How would I survive without you?

It's Go Time!

Wow, I haven't been on my blog for almost a month! I guess I've just been too lazy. Anyways, it's the playoffs right now and I'm pretty excited because I LOOOVE the playoffs. Go Calgary wooooot. So, I don't have anything else to say. I guess that's what happens when you sorta start abandonding something. I'm glad you're back though, Lizzie! Where were you on vacation to?

Shoe Shopping

I absolutely love these shoes. They are from Vintage Laundry (the 80s) and are $39.99. Called 'Top Secret'. They come in black (as shown), blue denim, beige and army green. I, personally like the denim and black the best. Anyways, I definately want these shoes. They're sneakers with class, and the heel is comfortably low. The same style also comes backless ('Turn On') and with a lower ankle ('Tickle'), all for the same price. Definately on my wishlist... I'll just have to see if my parents will buy them for me since I'm practically broke! Check out Vintange Laundry if you love 'em as much as me.

Milan, Here I Come!

You Belong in Milan

Stylish and sophisticated, you want to enjoy a truly European life - away from tourists!Milan fits you perfectly. Great shopping, high quality food, lots of culture... with very little hype.

So, I took a lovely quiz about what European city I belong in and I have to agree with the result. Milan is such a great city for of fashion, food and culture. Too bad my parents didn't take me to Milan when we were in Italy like I begged them too. Anyways, I'm feeling pretty down so I'm gonna go watch a movie.

An Update... Finally

Well now, it's been an awful long time since I've updated. Crazy amounts of homework. 1 short story and 1 timeline (Animal Farm and Russian history parallels) in less than 1 week. We also have an essay that we could finish by tomorrow for 4 extra percents but I just cannot force myself to finish that. So anyways, I found out why the teacher who gave us all that homework is so grumpy, she's pregnant! I'm not supposed to know but my teacher told my best friend's dad (my science teacher) and my best friend told me even though she wasn't supposed to know. I think she'll make a good mommy as long as she doesn't get moody because if she's moody she's just plain mean and no one likes her.

So, today was fun because we had a whole humanities class where me and my friend had nothing to do and most people were in the computer lab so we went crazy with paper making some awesome hats. My friend was the Pope of Kindness and I was the Pope's Chef. We even knighted each other with a paper towl roll. Oh yes, are we cool or what? anyways, during break quite a few people were staring at us but it was fun and quite enjoyable.

Tomorrow is the last day of school before 17 days or something like that of spring break!!! How exciting, and since we're not going anywhere I've decided to recreate Paris (the France one, not Ms. Hilton as my dad though... strange guy my dad is) in my bedroom. And, I will take a 'plane' to get there (plane = sitting in one room for the entire day as I read and have people serve me cute little meals). I am so excited. I told people I was going to Paris today... and they believed me.

And Lizzie, I'm so glad you're back to give me random comments and be the one and only to read my blog.

Oh yes, tomorrow is also casual day. Woot, woot! I'm wearing this cute brownish-tope top from Off The Wall and either my jeans or black gauchos. And I might wear my mocassin-like shoes with the cool beads unless it's snowing or something.

Not sure if I said this, but I'm on the badminton team!!! I seem to be playing really badly lately but me and my best friend (doing doubles) made it to the team. We have a tournament on the 19th or something and then badminton season is au finie! So fun.

Now, I must leave and do other random things. But not before I say how much I loved High School Musical!!! Did I say that on another post? Who knows, but I really do love it and Zac Efron is a total hottie. Love him and love the movie!!! And today I was looking at pictures from the Disney Channel Meet the Press thing even though that has nothing to do with anything.

Lizzie, where art though?

Lizzie, I have not heard from you since, it seems like, the 1920s. I dearly miss you and I wrote you this poem to express my feelings:

Lizzie, my dear Lizzie,
You've got me in a tizzy.
I guess you've been busy,
But please come back and vis't me.

The little vis't word is supposed to mean visit but visit just doesn't sound right so I changed it to vis't. One of my better poems if I do say so myself.

Mad As A Mailbox (except that mailboxes aren't mad)

So, I am mad. And, if I was in a cartoon right now, my face would be bright red and there would be steam coming out of my ears. Serious. So here's the story. Last night, me and 2 of my friends were going to go see She's The Man. We planned to meet at the movie theatre at 7:00 because the movie started at 7:20 and we wanted to make sure we got tickets because it was a new release and a Friday night. So, I get there at 7:00 and my friends get there at, like, 7:10 or 7:15, around that time. Well, by then the movie is, of course, sold out and we would've missed it by the time we got snacks and everything. And one of the first things those 2 do is ask me why I didn't buy tickets because I should've and how it was my fault we're not getting to see the movie. Well, (a) both of those 2 still owe me money and I'm not about to pay $30 some to be not paid back, (b) how was I supposed to know they were going to show up so late that the movie would already be sold out and (c) by the time they go there we wouldn't have been able to find seats together anyways. So, my mom had stayed there waiting with me for them to come and she waited for us to decide what we were going to do even though she was sick. So, my friends are making all these plans for my mom to drive them around to a different movie theatre or to see a later showing. My mom wasn't letting me stay for a later showing, which, I totally agree with yet we had to drive my friends all the way back to her house. But, I guess it's all my fault. Somehow, the way I see it, it is my friends fault for not coming on time when we agreed to meet rather than my fault for not buying them tickets.

But, I'll just try to ignore that and think of the happier parts of life. Such as my (plus my family) trip to Emerald Lake next weekend!!! 2 or 3 days of skating, snowshoeing, dog sledding, tobboganing... I'm so excited. And after that I get to go to some figure skating gala. And another good thing, last night I had fencing again (I missed it last week cause I was so sore from skiing) and it was great, we got to use the actual equipment and it was so fun. We actually did a bit of real fencing. And the instructor told me that there was a girl my age in the classes, but she hasn't been there either of the times I went, I think she went last week. I'm really excited to meet her though and I hope we get along and I hope we can both take fencing lessons somewhere else in the city once we get good. Ahhh, my dreams... which rarely come true. But I'm gonna work harder than I ever have to get good at fencing because I know I'm starting late but this is something I truly love.

Skiing, Fencing and Regrets

So, basically I am doing everything in my power to not do homework. The ski trip yesterday was fun, one of my friends kept on bragging about how good she was (she wasn't very good, fast, but not good and she was even in a level below me for our mandatory lesson) but that's OK cause she took me up the silver chair and we went on a blue run. Before I was hanging out with my best friend who likes to stick to the bronze chair and do easy green runs but then her skis got stolen and I could go up the silver chair except we only had half an hour left. Oh well. I'm really sore now and I missed fencing because I have a cold and I'm really stiff and sore and I really wish I could go cause I'm gonna miss a lot of the stuff he teaches. I'm REALLY regreting that I couldn't go. REALLY, REALLY regretting it. Plus my parents payed bunches of money for those classes. Ooooh boy, I feel a guilt trip coming on.

But High School Musical's on tonight!! Woooot!! And I'm leaving in the morning to spend about 3 days in Montana to shop!! I seriously love, love, LOVE American shopping. But anyways, I must really go work on my fabulous Russia study notes (and the only reason I have to make them is because my social teacher doesn't teach us social, it's quite horrible, actually).

Choking on Mucus

I am in an unusually happy mood today. but 'unusually' I mean that I only get into this happy mood after I eat cold cheese enchiladas. Which isn't a very common thing. So I think this is actually my first time being in this particular mood. Whoa.

In other news, I've always wanted to be a news anchor man. Actually no, just had to say that (I told you I was in a psychotic mood today). Lemme start again. In other news, today is New Phrase Day. Yes, yes, that is right. New Phrase Day is finally here. So I have to say my favourite phrase of today is either 'affirmative' or 'button'. Both of which are words not phrases. And inc ase you didn't already catch on, I just made up New Phrase Day and it's not a real thing. But shhhh, that's a secret.

Tomorrow is the Junior High Ski Trip. And I am psyched to say the least. Partly because it is also so much fun but also because I spelt the wort psyched right for once in my life. I think it's right, at elast. But I'm mainly excited cause it always so much fun!

Well, ciao all my favourite buttons!

Harry Potter Contest

So, I have never seen Harry Potter and it is not really something that interests me. But, my best friend is in love with Rupert Grint and so there's this contest thing. And if my friend gets enough votes she will win the contest and her and 3 people - I am one of those lucky people she has told me - will get to go to London and meet the cast. Sooo, she probably won't win or anything but if enough people vote for her she will. And, I want y'all to vote for her. So please do. It would mean a lot to her but also to me cause I really wanna go to London and I wanna meet the girl who play Hermoine. This is how you vote:

1. Go to http://www.harrypotter.com/goblet
2. Register, and more importantly, remember your little username thingee so you can vote every single day of your life
3. Vote for KeriW187

And I know that I sound so commercial but come on. It's not gonna hurt a single soul. So please, please do this. And you know what, when you sign up you also have the chane to win 1 of 250 prize packs. How would you like a portable digital media player? I have no clue what that is but it's shiny and technologyish and you know you want it!

Get All Excited...

Get all excited because...
  • I start fencing today
  • Today is Friday which means the weekend
  • My half birthday's on March 22

And now I have to go because I should be going to school in about O.39 seconds.

High School Musical (uh-huh, uh-huh)

I seriously have absolutely nothing to write about!!! I am so totally hyper. I am also so totally drinking a Timmy's Rrrroll Up The Rim To Win thing. It's a hazelnut warm smoothie. YUM to the extreme. I didn't win anything and that makes me sad. Now, if you were cool like me you would be taking the High School Musical (comes out on Family Chanel on March 10, why I am so excited, I'm not sure but me and my best friend are totally watching it!!!) quiz and see which dude you're most like, I'm most like Sharpay, the actress who plays her is on The Suite Life (yes, I do watch that show sometimes. I am cool). Y'all should watch High School Musical too cause there's a hot guy in it. I'd get you his picture but I'm just too darn lazy.

Junior High is seriously quite confusing. I'm not sure I'd be making a musical about it, but, I'm just above all that weirdness... KIDDING! Well, I'm gonna leave now.

Oh wait, NO I'M NOT LEAVING!!! Did you people watch Gilmore Girls last night? Uh-huh, well, I did. Laine is getting MARRIED!!! Awww, I'm so excited for her. And Gigi is really cute but such an obnoxious kid. I would NOT want to be parenting her.

OK, well, hugs!

Forro de Prata

I desperately hope that you have noticed the name change of my 'oh-so-fabulous' blog. Instead of World-of-Lauren, it is now Forro de Prata. Forro de Prata is Portuguese (however invented the spelling of the name of that language, I hate you) for Silver Lining. I would have liked to do Silver Lining as my blog name but that was taken, I would've also liked to do Silver Lining written in Italian as my blog name but that was too hard to remember. But Anyways, I like the way Forro de Prata sounds. I even made a little 'logo' thing if you want to call it that. It's nothing fancy but can't you just see it on T-shirts looking lovely. Of course, that will be when my blog gets famous which is pretty much a joke. But anyways, it should be linked to my blog so if you wanna put it on your site and be a sweetheart and advertise for me, by all means go ahead. No, I'm kidding. Of course, you can if you want. I seriously don't care.

Now on to new t
hings, aren't you sad the Olympics are over? I wil be 18 the next time Winter Olympics are on, 18! Am I the only one who finds that altogether crazy? I think the Torino games were great though, it's quite a tragedy they're over. The Opening and Closing Cermonies were certainly... 'unique' but, they were cool in this weird sorta way. I'm quite excited for Vancouver 2010, it's really weird that they'll be in Canada where I live. My grandma lives right near Vancouver, I could like... go to the games! That would be really cool. Well, Ciao Bella's! It's a new week... full of homework and I must go conquer it! Not by choice though, cause I truly do hate homework. OK, enough procrastinating. I'm out, hugs!

My Favourite Trend...

I am in love with gaucho pants right now. Actually, any style of short pants - whether it be classic short pants, puddle-jumpers, pedal-pushers, culottes or gauchos I love them all! Some of my favourites include. So for those of you who don't know the difference between these fabulous styles - this is for you:

short pants
n : trousers that end at or above the knee [syn:
shorts, trunks]

pedal pushers
n : calf-length slacks worn by women and girls

cu·lotte
n : a woman's full trousers cut to resemble a skirt

gau·cho
1. a cowboy of the South American pampas
2. gauchos Calf-length pants with flared legs

And since my dad is forcing me to get ready to go to my cousins (whom I am not very fond of) house, I will not be able to show you my favourite styles or get you the definition for puddle-jumpers. Sigh, what a way to end my long weekend.

Le Chocolat Spa

Would you not loooove to go to a chocolate spa? Especially a chocolate spa loocated in the one and only Hershey Hotel? Of course, it's in Hershey, Pennsylvania (how could it not be?). Here, Whipped Cocoa Bath, Cocoa Butter Scrub, and Chocolate Fondue Wrap are necessities! Now I'm sure the only thing keeping you from rushing right now to The Hershey chocolate Spa is the prices. So here are the deets - prices range from $45 to$105. But, you could be paying for anything from a Whipped Cocoa Bath to a Cocoa Massage. Now, that definately sounds good to me. But, if you're more of an 'order-in' type chick - try the Hershey Spa Online Store. You could buy anything from Bath Bars (try Milk and Honey or Strawberry Parfait) to Body Scrub (tempting in Chocolate Sugar and Noche Azul). And a bonus to the 'order-in' idea is a much lower price range, $16 - $24. So what are you waiting for? Check out the Hershey Chocolate Spa - either online or in person! And 1 last thing, happy late VDay to all! Hugs!

Falling In Love With... The Teahouse Wrap

Saturday Morning. Grumbling Stomach. Mall-Ward Bound. Pajama Clad. Achin' Toe. And if that doesn't give you an inside look to my world, this will...

I pretty much love this top! It's called the Teahouse Wrap and it's $138.00 American from anthrolpolgie.com. The only thing I'm not totally loving about this gorgeous shirt is that horrid price. Well, I do have those 400 bucks from dear old Ralphie and I think this shirt might jsut be in the budget. Well, I'll finish eating my fabulous MckyD hotcakes and drink up all my orange drink and then it's time to hit the mall... but first, hit the shower! Peace out to all you chick-a-dees and chick-a-dudes reading this!

Curious George In Theatres Today!!! Must See, Must See!

I am, like SO bored. It is Friday night and, I could do homework and get it all out of the way but I'm like, "NO!" Cause, I have an essay due Monday which I have not started off and I sooo don't want to do it because I hate essays, especially persuasive. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I near flunked on my essay last year... or maybe that I'm just MUCH happier sitting here in my pajamas listening to Jack Johnson's song Upside Down - the music video is SO cute! I love Curious George, and, I wanna see his movie debut. And, I don't really care that it got 2.5 stars because movie reviewers are just so close-minded and ugh! But anyways, I'm going to the mall tomorrow. And this is very good, except, I was there like - Tuesday. And I love to shop, but I'd love to shop even more if I had money! Speaking of clothes, we watched some old Russia, Rasputin, Tsar Nicholas movie (that is old, as I mentioned) and the tsaritsa - well, the lady who played the tsaritsa - had the cutest clothes!! She wore lots of pale pinks and purple and white lace, she had a soft look but then she had these huge and shiny brooches and ruby necklaces which looked OK sometimes. And she had this gorgeous pearl necklace, actually 2 pearl necklaces. They were a little much but, for a tsaritsa, I guess that's OK. But she could actually pull off some of her outfits quite well, I was surprise. Well, I'm out. My parting words for you - go see Curious George, in theatres today! Oh ya, just want to say thanks to lizzie!! who signed my blog on my last entry cause that is my first real comment and I'm so happy (as you can tell, I'm easy to please).

Turkish Delight

So, I always feel like updating my blog in the morning but then I tell myself no because, it's better to write in the evening cause I have more to say but I'm too lazy!! I have to do homework today and I wanna get it done even though I only have 5 hours cause yesterday my friend was over from after school and I had a sleep over till this morning and then I'm babysitting.

My new favourite song is 'Turkish Delight' by David Crowder Band from that Inspired by Narnia CD which I pretty much want to get it. I've listened to clips of that song so much but now I'm getting the full version of it and I'm happy!!

I wanted to relax today and sleep in tomorrow but I can't because today I'm doing homework and tomorrow morning is church. Oh well, I can't really complain! I at least hope we have a good lunch today, though.

Just Relax... Who Knows When Else You'll Get The Chance

Tomorrow is really, really the start of school which is totally sad because, who wants to go to school in all honesty? Learning would be ace... that is, if it wasn't so totally monotonous. So today, I'm just gonna breathe easy - stay in my pajamas till 4 o'clock and cuddle with my puppy - that's what I'm all about! I am totally ecstatic to see my friends again but, why can't we do that at the mall instead of school thank-you very much!

So anyways, watched that Felecity movie this morning - ya know the one on the WB that aired like, 3 weeks ago tehe! It was good and the youngest sister is soooo cute! Her name in the real world is Eulala Grace Scheel. Actually, most of the girls in that movie - Shailene Woodley, Katie Henney, Juliet Holland-Rose - are quite gorgeous.

Not to mention Kevin Zegers, who happens to be just a little bit of a hottie! If you don't believe me, see for yourself...

Welcome Back to Yours Truly!

After 2 weeks of visiting historic monuments, shopping till my daddy's back account is dry and stuffing my face with absolutely tantalizing food - I'm back! So, did ya miss me?

So, I guess it's the 2nd of January - weird! I spent New Years Eve on a 12 hour trains and ate at Pizza Hut (sehr deutsch, translation: very german - or maybe not so much) surrounded by exploding fire crackers (and being as half-witted as I am, I believed my dad when he told me Germany was being bombed - oh wow). New Years Day wasn't much better, 14 hours of flights, breaking my back lugging my 'bloated' and over packed suitcase (although it is embellished with white hawaiin flowers on a pink background which makes the agony a little better) and total exhaustian on my part. But, I guess it's worth it because now I can spend as much time as I want sleeping, watching English TV and stuffing my face with the remains of my desolate advent calender (how I absolutely adore those things) in the comfort of my home. Anyways, now I am completely langourous but headed for the mall which can give any day a sprinkle of hullabaloo!

That's it for me because, honestly, how much time can you waste writing something no one will ever read?
